2019 To Grow Out of the Mud

To Grow Out of the Mud, explores the footprint we leave behind, as well as repurpose and reuse of material. I collected clothes that are too sentimental to donate, or not suitable for recycling through second-hand stores, and turn them into one-of-a-kind stuffed bears. Once loved clothes begin their lives anew as lasting art objects. Life does not need to end when you do not fit into the mold that was prescribed for you; we can always grow out of the mud, and lift ourselves above the murky water and bloom.
